My Approach
I created Ellara Group to support organisations who are working to find more sustainable ways to take care of each other and the Earth. I support them in strengthening their operations, governance and project management foundations to help them make the difference in the world they were created to make.
Throughout my career I have led projects and organisations through times of change. I have found that the seeds of what will be a next stage for an organisation are often present during times of transition, but need new structures to support their growth. Old processes, commitments and ways of working need to be released and new ones built.
I enjoy supporting organisations through these transitions. I do this by drawing from the wisdom that is held by the people who best understand what is working and what is not. And then I connect this input, together with my own insights, and research to support new ways of working.
Key skills include:
Facilitating collaboration between diverse groups of people.
Developing realistic plans and processes.
Finding solutions during chaotic or changing times.

I trained as a Civil and Environmental Engineer and later completed a Certificate in Financial Analysis & Investment Management and received Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Over the past 25 years I have worked in engineering, infrastructure development and nonprofit organisations supporting projects and organisations through transition and change.

“Amanda’s competency is up there, in literally, the highest level I’ve encountered. Her competency is in her ability to step into a situation, take in all the pieces, stay open to all the parts, present possibilities, adapt to the listening, adapt to what’s capable of being received, and match that, not coming from a position, but from an intent to support something coming forward that has yet to be articulated.”
